My point regarding the NWT's take of Ecclesiastes 9:6 is the use of the phrase "anymore to time indefinite", as opposed to "never again" [NIV] or "forever they have no more share" [English Standard Version, which you have also quoted from]. Obviously, with an earthy resurrection [Psalm 37:29], "anymore to time indefinite" means "anymore until resurrection".

(v.43) And Yahshua said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, in that day thou shalt be with Me in the glory.
And again, Jack J. Blanco's 1990 the New Testament (a devotional paraphrase to stimulate faith and growth) is useful, as well. There, Luke 23:42-43 reads this way:— (v.42) Then he turned to Jesus and said, "Lord, I believe in you! Please, don't forget me when you set up your kingdom." one of the things i never understout as a young kid was this:.
the question i had as a kid was: if god is almighty than he would of known that adam and eve and....satan... and demons....would sin before he even created anything.. my father who was an elder back then could never give me a good answer.... my dad would say something like because it's was necessary for god to show us and the angels, we can only have a good live if we live it like god wants .
and so we wait with eager anticipation for Jehovah God to reveal more of his mind and purposes in the scrolls that Revelation pointed forward to.

The WTS publications (such as the NWT, the WT, Awake!, brochures, tracts, books, videos, etc.) and gatherings all play a part in fulfilling the commission found at Matthew 24:14; Matthew 28:18-20; and Acts 1:8. So are discussions between individuals and groups, wherever they might be held. Prayer, meditation, meeting preparation & participation — they all help us to "be sure of the more important things", which will help us serve Jehovah is the Ultimate Source of truth and spirit, and help us not to feel lost. By the way, the DC drama this year is talking about a modern application of the Prodigal Son. It reminds me of some of the elements you mention which you're finding yourself in.

Jesus being Eternal is from his resurrection forward. Jesus' Eternality is not that of Jehovah. After all, Jesus did experience personal own death, which Jehovah did not.
